Is -90% a lot or bullish? 😎
They sell one vehicle. The Model Y. And a few other ancillary vehicles.
At this point, no one is buying Tesla stock based on the belief that they will ever sell enough cars to justify a trillion dollar valuation. The bull case is now based entirely on the idea that Musk will give us robotaxis and robot maids.
For the record, he won't come through with AV or humanoids either. The difference is that broken promise will be further in the future.
He'll just get something else out of his magic hat and change the narrative and everyone will swallow it. For instance he could merge all his companies into one giant X Corp, like he did for Twitter and xAI.
Here's how we put it in 2022. observationalepidemiology.blogspot.com/2022/05/we-n...
It’s not robot maids, it’s robots for your own personal male pleasure
You can't say that Elon doesn't know what his followers want.
I’d say it’s based on his own experience. When the girls don’t even want to suck your tiny and crooked penis despite being promised a free horse it says something about your problematic sex life. Given that he has a very low EQ a robot wouldn’t mind his antics and difficulties dealing with humans.
@teslatakedown.com 🧵
and the Right isn't coming to the rescue - they have EVs in general, and specifically the cybertruck is an embarrassment - seriously, no working guy is driving that to a job site LOLOL and the whole cyber-taxi thing, even if it has success, it isn't going to support the insane valuation on $TSLA
"they have EVs" - I meant "they HATE EVs"
Ha, I got you, I immediately thought ‘They meant haTe’ due to the mention of the Right😂
Tesla is caught between a rock and the hard place - the times of "easy" were in the past when there were no real good alternatives for a medium-high-end EV and the liberals loved them. Musk pees in the tea of the Left at the same time that other more reasonable EV options come to market. BAD timing
My fat idiot neighbor bought a new model 3, so maybe he’s the demographic they’re going for.
2/2 However, Tesla continues to operate 35 stores across the country (source: www.tesla.com/findus/list/...), keeping SG&A costs high at a time when the company appears to be on track to report GAAP losses starting in Q1 2026.
Good - the sooner they go bust, the better.
Only q1/2026? How can Tesla be profitable beyond q1/2025? Weird.
Their profit has been coming from selling carbon offsets. You know, the things that the guy he got elected would love to kill.
"Their profit has been coming from selling carbon offsets. You know, the things that the guy he got elected would love to kill." yep - maybe the only beautiful thing in the "One Big Bullshit Bill"
Also with the “robotaxi launch” theyll be releasing as much deferred revenue as possible to maintain paper profitability
Sure, buts a one off.
A one off is all the cultists need to buy the stock in force
Deferred revenue from what source? bsky.app/profile/qs-n...
FSD. They’ll claim the robotaxis show progress towards releasing fsd to the wider group and then release that profit into the income statement
That assumes that there is also comparable deferred R&D expense. That will also need to be recognized when the revenue hits the books. They cannot simply choose to only defer and recognize profit.
FSD deferred revenue are yet to be collected, future license fees from actual users of FSD - ie people who still owe ongoing monthly FSD license fees, correct? If that’s the case, how will Robotaxi justify treating converting future FSD license fee streams into present revenue?
"FSD. They’ll claim the robotaxis show progress towards releasing fsd to the wider group and then release that profit into the income statement" depends on the very public robot-taxi results ENTIRELY nobody is paying up for FSD if the taxi's don't work flawlessly
They have to keep the service centers open to service the 200,000 or so cars it’s sold there.
