Pretty much all of us here are both liberal and very media aware. So political/breaking news posts specifically can feel repetitive and unnecessary unless truly unique. Also, a lot of us are on here to get away from that for a bit, and just socialize. I have almost no followers and still enjoy it

Thanks! Nice to know I’m alive! Surprised people don’t like a joke, very topical, calls Trump distraction out, is kinda original (I didn’t say good!). Maybe i should repeat news headlines -the big accounts do, seems to do well.🤷but these getting hundreds of reactions vs zero here, is inexplicable.

Also, it's kinda like dating apps. If you're surrounded by bots and idiots, you'll stand out more (my assessment of other apps like x), vs being among similar ppl and blending in (here), but are likes worth being surrounded by bots and idiots, so... *shrug*

You might be right, maybe people have Trump fatigue because it didn’t used to be like this. I just went back and checked and here were typical posts in December when I had half the followers I now have. Dropped right off a cliff after this.

It's for sure a real factor. I wouldn't stress over it. Just keep posting what you want when you want and trust it'll find the right ppl (like or no like) is my take

Likes aren't as common/frequent on here, but i feel like genuine engagement and interaction is way better--just my experience though
