If you're a Christian, follow how Christ acted. My understanding is that a true Christian should be kind, honest, tolerant and charitable. Greed is not a Christian virtue, hate is not a Christian virtue, selfishness is not a Christian virtue.

Sure, but it depends how you view Christ too. Is he God? Or is he a separate entity as in the son of God with his own subjective experience? Because one is not as you're describing. Also, these virtues are contained within the faith. Only God's chosen really mattered in the book. Little problematic.
