I agree about what the real problem is, but while foolish people keep listening to the lies pushed by big money then democratic politicians have little choice than to try to give people what they ask for.

Disagree. For one thing - Labour could have the army shoot every person in small boats and those currently baying for blood still wouldn't be happy, because it wouldn't improve their lives. They'd just turn their attention to another scapegoat, like the brown people already here.

A massive overall majority and 4 years to the next election means they absolutely have the choice to do the right thing and then stand on their record of success. That they are choosing not to is 100% on them.
