Correct! Now, if people in the neighborhood get together and ask what everyone paid for a lawn mow and Stingy Al said he paid $10 and everyone who paid more is dumb, and everyone shrugs their shoulders and says, I guess that's what it should cost? No longer a conspiracy, no longer illegal.

I don't feel like I'm crazy for asking people to try and understand the mechanics and specifics of what's being done before railing against what's being done.

Not crazy, but just because something is legal doesn't make it moral. You might object to the use of a particular word in a particular sense but that doesn't change the fact that what is being done is wrong.
