One thing that will always bother me in the New Girl break-up episode is the fact that the central fight stems from Jess insisting on putting together a huge toy ahead of a kid’s first birthday party, and she’s so wrong for that. Keep it together! Attach a gift receipt to that box!

This was the weirdest plot angle. It never made sense to me.
The toy is going to take up so much real estate. And what is it, even? A marble run? For a toddler? Insane move.
Putting the marble run together is most of the fun!
