I think I found a solution that will help. I will try to remember to do that in the future!

oh the settings are a good hack - Settings > Accessibility - toggle on the alt-text reminder! It's useful too because alt-text is searchable, so anyone searching for "haunted house" (e.g.) will see your post if you put "a picture of a haunted house" in the alt-text
