It doesn’t matter if you think it’s an indictment of the country. The country is. So either persuade people to change their minds or take more popular positions to win. But you have to win.

Zohran Mamdani is the perfect example of how to change people's minds in favor of left leaning ideas. I do not think it's possible for Dems to win by following the polling because that just makes them look weak and inauthentic.
