Selfish. These people should be thrown under the bus, just like Biden. It’s a safe district. New and more energetic blood helps the brand, and the brand is very, very tarnished.

It really isn't that cut-and-dried. Experience matters. OTOH, "set in their ways" doesn't equate to good, either. A mix of experience and youth is required. Maybe we need a method of ensuring we never have single candidate primaries?
