Just went on that journey myself recently. Ep 4 is both richer and poorer following Andor and Rogue One. The stakes and gravity of the Death Star battle are much bigger, but the absence of everything else going on in the Rebellion in Ep 4 is jarring. They could remake and improve it

Now that could be a very cool project. Sort of a "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" that tells the story of what else was going on, that intersects A New Hope, and that, in a Director's cut, could actually be edited together with A New Hope to tell a more complete story. Maybe just fanfic, tho
