There are times I see “blocked” on this site and I don’t know if it’s because I am blocked or because I have blocked the poster in question. I have just enough poster exhaustion not to chase after the question but enough social anxiety to wonder what I might have done to get blocked.
If it’s a QT or reply and either party has blocked the other, you (looking on as a third party) will also see it as “blocked” even if you and theose other parties havnt blocked each other.
(But also the degree to which some people build clout on Bluesky and use it to perpetuate weird grudges via blocklists makes this a totally useless thing to worry about I suppose. Once again, I’ve lost the soul of the poster.)
