One by one, the wicked fall.
What if every location walked out at once?
Odds are sitting around 50/50 that they do that. But anything Amazon can do to shoot itself in the dick and damage it’s business further I’m in favour of.
Yep
Quebec is a lot easier to service from Ontario than BC would be to service from Alberta (although I suppose they could try to do it from Washington).
have you heard he is considering *means he's gonna do it* buy Conde Nast as a 'wedding gift' for his blushing botox bride. Conde includes Teen Vogue AND WIRED. the New Yorker. Ars Technica. these are the most important imo. here we were worried about Murdoch *she says sarcastically*
Fine by me. As a frequent BC user I went cold turkey in January and haven’t looked back. Ok the odd time I was tempted because it would be easier for hard to find things but I’ve been holding strong. Fuck bezos. I shoulda done it sooner.
BC will be better off if they do. Amazon is a snake that sells garbage. They also rip off businesses to resell their wares like the fucking mafia.
Government is meant to protect citizens from the worst of capitalism: slave labour, greed, etc
a boy can dream
Their closure of the Quebec facilities was the last straw for me. Even if unionized, I’m not sure Amazon is an employer we want here or support.
Upside is that I won't be tempted to order from them anymore. Although to be honest, for all that I'm in an urban area with its own warehouse, it still took them almost a week to deliver. Even when I had Prime.
