Here in Canada it’s law that by 2026, 20% of all car sales must be full EV. By 2030 that increases to 60%. Correctly they are projecting only 9% of care sales in 2025 will be EV because there are no more government subsidies. Rampant inflation and costs nave EV cars unaffordable to most.

Those that can afford them likely have already bought them so how they are going to more than double sales here is questionable. Throw in that they are pushing towards big condo towers that are not designed for everyone charging EVs with inadequate power lines to even support it.
Again. Incorrect. EVs are cheaper because of energy and maintenance costs. As soon as gasoline subsidies stop, EVs will be cheaper across the board.
This! Not to mention EVs are pretty much at price parody with new gas cars. Have you seen the prices on ICE vehicles lately?
Everyone who says “EVs are expensive” compares high end luxury models with basic gas cars. Is is true that basic EVs are rare but the Chinese are going to change that(which is another problem)
Those two vehicles aren’t competitive. The Mustang Mache E is a class above. I would consider the Escape to be a competitor of the Hyundai Kona EV though. It starts at $33k.
Yeah, picking a carmaker incapable of releasing any new EVs after a half decade and lighting $22B on fire is an indictment of Ford's incompetence, not a reflection on the EV industry. Thankfully other automakers have tons of options, and actually build them in the U.S. with high U.S./CAD parts!
