i'm not taking much of a side on the output, and will note that the 303 and 808 both were originally marketed as assistive devices before becoming instruments in their own right. I do think we have to focus on the input side here
if the Starter Slurry that comes with the MusicBlender includes copyrighted material, those rights holders need to be compensated. I say this as a lifelong, avowed music "pirate" but commercial and personal use are wildly different
