I agree. There is plenty of good alternative media available but people like their confirmation bias. And too many people just tune out because neither party fixes anything.

I don't buy that. Democrats worked to fix several things, against heavy Republican opposition. They rarely have had enough of a majority to do more. Just two defectors in the Senate was enough to limit what could be achieved. I don't blame Dems. It's the GOP that's screwed us. Unilaterally.

I mean, okay. If you want to defend the Democrats who refused to dismantle the filibuster in order to pass a single thing they campaigned on, do that. But you can’t claim that voting for them will help with school shootings, or medical bankruptcy or stagnant wages or education costs or housing…

Defend Democrats who refused to dismantle the filibuster? Just the opposite. I'm saying they're responsible for the Democrats failing to achieve more. We're appalled by school shootings. The other side worships their guns and thinks the answer is prayer. We pass bills for infrastructure... 1/2

They vote against it, then go to their districts and claim they got it done. They claim they're appalled by the massive debt. Then they go and pretend to cut waste, but add trillions more to the debt. It's the misinformation that's killing us. 2/2

Because ultimately there will always be that excuse that Senator Scumbag from Trash State just won’t go along with this. Which is not a problem Republicans ever have in passing their own agendas. And Americans aren’t going to be gaslit by that argument anymore.
