If prayer really worked he’d never have been elected. Either it doesn’t or the Gods are laughing.

if he hadn't been elected, we never would have seen the dark underbelly of the US exposed in all its rottenness. This Chinese parable, quoted by Alan Watts, sums up my perspective when things happen. www.craftdeology.com/the-story-of...
That's a good one, but I already knew there were a lot of racist people in the country before they detained firefighters over their immigration status while those were busy fighting the largest fires in the state.
It was already long exposed. Even if you ignore the decades of fake “progress”, his first term was more than enough to make it clear.
to the rest of the world, it's been obvious. To the us citizens, who've been conditioned to ignore reality, it's been oblivious to most of them. That's why it's so bad.
Sadly the 77+88 support your case, but please don’t let media silence and complicity let you think that it’s a homogenized state.
I know that there is a sizeable population that's against the authoritarian regime, and I know that efforts have been and are mobilized. And also that kamala won the election, but she didn't even dispute the results 🙄 Apathy is what I'm speaking to with this. Voter apathy led to this outcome.
💯 — which is why I always call them the “77+88”, because I don’t want to give a free pass to the 88M that didn’t show up. I am also furious at the “high road” nonsense that prevent Kamala from even disputing the results or requesting recounts. There’s being gracious and there’s rolling over.
Exactly. She wanted to portray the image of democracy. She should have requested a recount. The fact that no other dems had her back or spoke up speaks volumes. In my eyes, dems and repubs are both corrupt (minus a few that are not corporate sellouts) The us is fueled by unchecked greed.
