something similar I do, best comfort food: same green cabbage cut into smallish wedges, flattest cut side on an oiled, foil-covered baking sheet, then drizzled w evoo, kosher salt. roast under broiler 10 or so min until there's a little char, then 375-400 until soft, broil again if needed to crisp

ps. by broiling first I find there is v little stink (same tip for Brussels spouts)
