I bought an HP color printer from Costco last year and discovered it had subscription ink. If you didn’t keep it active, the ink would stop working. I promptly returned it for an Epson Ecotank printer - no cartridges, just ink reservoirs. Very economical and I highly recommend!
I’m amazed anyone still prints. The color cartridge on my Epson ran dry in 2020 when I was out of work. Learned to live without printing, but did visit FedEx Kinkos twice when I needed to print. Donated the Epson in 2024 after removing the dust.
