I don’t even want to think about how many drivers do this on a regular basis. She’s got both hands off the wheel on a two-lane road with heavy oncoming traffic, and passing a cement mixer at one point. This could have ended very tragically for her and/or someone else.
Yeah I avoid riding in mixed traffic as much as possible
Extremely lucky, I mean seriously she just couldn’t get away from that damn screen! Guaranteed this is a norm for her
I believe touchscreens are just as bad and OEMs are contributing to the problem. Saw a guy in his Tesla X doing this and wondered why since it basically has a TV on the dash the size of most TVs in the ‘70s.
It’s important to try and shame these people whenever possible. I sometimes yell “you’re not talented enough to do both” or “look up dummy”
