How insane is it that law-abiding citizens have to protect themselves against illegal acts being committed by the US President, Department of Justice, and Department of Homeland Security? I wish you safety on your journeys.

Thank you. The border cops in NY have never given me any grief but the ones in Detroit? They are assholes and they are proud of it. I figure it's good to have just in case.

Good! My daughter is an immigration attorney, so I pay attention to her advice on this stuff. I guess burder phones are cheap and if they decide to keep it you haven't lost your main phone.
