I honestly think proper labeling should be enough. If the kids have a place to go (one where they get to tell what it needs and how it works and it's not just adults making what they think a kid should want and need)...

Then being clear that this space is an adult space and they might see something that is not meant for them should be enough. At that point, the kid has an actual choice because they have somewhere else to go. Trying to corral and control their every move is just treating them like shit tbh
