It's not very different than rolling dice to figure out what to make. Sometimes ya don't know if you want a sandwich or pizza.

Of course rolling dice or flipping a coin doesn’t pollute a town each time you do it

Very true. All they cost is a few seconds. Server farms for AI and crypto suck.

I almost always want pizza but I'm (a) trying to manage my cholesterol and (b) raise a healthy child. (1/3)

So "what will I make for dinner" is a combo of what do i want to eat, what will the child eat, what ingredients do i have, what can i make in the time between finishing work and the child going feral with hunger, etc etc. (2/3)

I don't use an LLM for this nor do I suggest, advocate or recommend anyone else does. I'm just saying I see the attraction. And I know plenty of others would also see the attraction. So, using that issue to advertise is good advertising. (3/3)

I've not seen the ad, but it does sound like pretty good advertising. If dice aren't good enough I do normally just ask the kid what he wants and figure out if we need to go to the store(he only ever wants quesadillas or berries).
