I so very much love it when people teach their dogs to be chill. I don't care if it's a tiny dog or a big unit, if it's a chill dog I will stop and say hi. If someone's cool with it I'll grab a bit of jerky or something and bring a treat on my way back if I'm going to be back.
I hate the dogs that like bark and jump at the fence when ya are just walking by. LIke, for real, smoke some weed with your dog or something. I hate little dogs that will follow me down the street barking. I don't know why people think they shouldn't be tied to something.
But, I don't let some dogs sucking ruin my view of dogs. They still are some cute dudes and the nice ones are friends, even if we haven't met yet. I got an unlimited supply of skritches for anything chill enough to get skritched up.
My friend has a couple pitbulls and they would be scary as fuck if they weren't just trying to cuddle up for skritches all the time. Oh, a week ago I was on the way home and saw a couple bostons by my house and they reminded me of a couple I used to know in a different town. Very cool dudes.
