How completely shocking that there’s a correlation with increasing obesity rates and declining rates of exercise, too. It’s not like the problem is some great mystery.

Although the article points out that low T rates are found in the non obese as well.
Has it been shown there is a correlation between male testosterone levels and fertility?
It plays a role, but I would expect it isn't a 1:1 correlation between something like sperm count and testosterone levels. You probably would need some "critical mass" of testosterone for sperm production to happen, but beyond that, I would imagine a higher level doesn't mean more sperm.
Libido is a different story of course. And I am not a biologist nor do I play one on TV. Maybe we can find someone who is to weigh in though.
@drstevenhobbs.bsky.social not sure if the above ^^ is your area of expertise but if not, maybe you know someone?
I'd suggest probably no correlation, only in his worm eaten brain!!!
Please don’t ruin what might be the best news the rest of the planet has heard in years. Let’s face it — the world is already saturated with American culture, politics, and carbon emissions. If they’ve finally decided to ease up on the reproduction conveyor belt, we should all be quietly thankful.
No worries! Our pop is already below replacement level (1.66).
I don't have the answer to that. From my limited understanding of biology, I would expect a quite-loose correlation. There are probably some proper studies out there somewhere, and it would be interesting to find out.
