I'm morbidly fascinated by The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, but I think that about 99% of what they've encountered can be explained by GPS interference from something local, updrafts from the nearby mesa, and radioactive decay of local mineral deposits. #HistoryChannel
The mysterious 1.6 GHz signal *could* be tracked down fairly quickly using direction-finding techniques and Yagi antennas, but I suspect it's a "birdy" coming from their own equipment. They know there are metallic deposits in the area, so GPS interference wouldn't be at all surprising.
