I’d be inclined to say she would never, but she’s such a laughing stock that she may never return to advertising again. A lawsuit might be a way to retire comfortably. So good call.

She would be smart (if you could actually call her that) to pursue something like that. Will she? Depends on the stipulations of her contract with Melonball when she was hired. Yes, she was and forever will the laughing stock of Twitter/X. Her chances of working in advertising are slim to none.
Given how friendly her resignation post was, I still think she’ll most likely just go away. Imagine throwing away being chairman of global advertising at NBCUniversal, a lucrative position at one of the biggest conglomerates, to work for Elon Musk. Incredibly embarrassing.
She tanked it herself. 🤷♀️ Thinking she was going to make a difference with Melonball by improving a social media platform based on the ideals of white supremacy and Nazi Ideals isn't going to give her the reputation she thinks. She dug herself a hole, filled it with karma. Now she has to swim.
Probably her salary was such that she figured being Musk's front for a few years then retiring to an island would be more lucrative than continuing her existing career. It's not like it wasn't obvious to everyone that Musk would remain in charge and would continue to make bad decisions.
You could have stopped at working.
If she can’t retire comfortably on her ridiculous salary (along with whatever she earned before she went to Twitter) she needs to fire her financial planner.
