By the way, that $30k number is being VERY nice. The base model Cybertruck was supposed to cost $49,900 and ended up being $60,990. Do you want a $50k robot in your house with no discernible use case?

I do not. I think there is work for these kinds of machines in industry, I don’t think Tesla is best positioned to deliver them. Boston Robotics will get there first. Musk has proven himself untrustworthy in every sense. If Tesla wanted to survive it would get rid of him.

Humanized robots are the worst form factor for industry. Inefficient.

While I generally agree, it depends on the application. Many tasks were designed for the human form, so a human form factor robot could do those. That said, it’s as hard a problem as full self driving, and Tesla still can’t do that.
