Why do so many birds risk the journey from Central and South America to breed in the Canadian Shield? There are a feast of mosquitos and blackflies in Spring … then deer flies join the party. I wear a bug jacket but the dogs (and wildlife) suffer. Short walks only in July. #dogs #Ontario
