Europeans have been verbally bitch-slapping Americans about this, and they're right to do so. We need more high level organization, nationally. Dem politicians have coordinated exactly nothing. Feckless. Replaceable. #NoKings should be constant. The protest sites barely have anything listed, dammit.
I don't know that European protests are organized. Don't they just take to the streets? Why aren't we? Are we too spread out as a country? Too capitalistic and people can't miss work or risk losing their job? I have been to as many protests as I could. Many Americans are also caregivers.
I do think we're too spread out as a country but this is why we need national organization in addition to local.

Actually what we need is more actually useful action. Marching in the streets is a wonderful topping on other stuff but without that other stuff it can be ignored. General strikes, civil disobedience and such need to also exist.
Agree. I feel we're overdue for a general strike. Way overdue.
Protests are great but unless those protests have teeth... then they are much too eaty for Trump and his junta of fascists to ignore.
