I say that for two reasons - they used to do the four jets, then dropped steadily to one. Having said that, you’ve surprised me as to how late that last one was. I’d have said 1999 or something 😀

It was quite a thing. I distinctly remember the heat that came off it when they fired one down the main straight at Albert Park. I vaguely remember one over Sydney Harbour, probably NYE.
