Well you can't speed up the time it takes (years) spent as a Resident to build up enough experience to become an Attending physician. Regarding time spent in medical school: I think the bottle neck isn't in the speed of information delivery, it's in the students rate of knowledge retention.
Let me paraphrase: If they could do it well enough in any shorter amount of time, they would have already done that.
Good point residency might need to be the same to gain critical experience and retention but my opinion is undergrad definitely can be. Many redundancies in undergrad degrees.
