I’m a nurse practitioner, I am in utter disbelief at everything this idiot is doing! He’s going to make it literally impossible for us to take care of our patients effectively. It makes me absolutely sick to my stomach!
Sure hope you’re watching @lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com this eve, Dan.
It is totalitarianism.
but you don't even work for a real newspaper
Everyone use what Drs do. Yeah castor oil and baking soda daily. But how and why?. I know they don't drink the castor oil.
I’m not affected but I have an idea why 45 initiated the pause: keep the people in the dark about a serious contagious virus or disease that is on its way. He was already read into this and the pause is his attempt to keep control. Expect some kind of announcement that everything is fine. It’s not.
Not publishing data from the NIH studies is asinine. This data can save lives.
Does this mean things like SAE reporting, food safety monitoring, and other communicable disease monitoring is no longer happening?
Trump is going to kill SO many Americans
I work in a research lab at a university funded by grants. I do know this will likely cause some people I work with to not receive grants they should get (they got scored within the funding range, but there are further meetings to approve the funding that now won't happen).
Nero fiddles while Rome burns.
I’m a PhD student funded by NIH and I was at a NICHD career development workshop that was abruptly canceled an hour before it was about to end. Ironically, we were in the middle of a mock study section scenario to give us trainees a peek behind the curtain. Would love to speak out.
how can you remain with WaPo when... you know.
I’m committed to writing stories without fear or favor — like breaking the story yesterday on Trump health agencies shutting down CDC reports, etc — and I know my colleagues in the newsroom are too. No one has ever stopped me from pursuing a story. If that ever changed, I’d speak out and leave.
I give you about six months then.
glad to hear it. are your sentiments widely shared among your colleagues?
Yes.
bookmarked this. carry on please.
People with #MECFS and #LongCOVID will be affected. Our public health agencies offer hope for those of us disabled by infection associated chronic illnesses. How do we advocate for better research now? The fear is real. @meactnet.bsky.social
It will come back stating ivermectin and injecting bleach are acceptable treatments for covid.
They should post the information anyway. #Defiance
I wish you luck. I cancelled my subscription because of so many misleading headlines and articles already. I can read until it expires this summer though, so I've followed you. This topic is important to me and my family and friends.
