It's such a crazy world that people like Mark Elias are convincing people to distrust reporting from people like you, and instead to choose as alternatives "new media" sites that employ a handful of people, to replace the institutional reach of an organization like The Post with hundreds.
Before there were chain newspapers, there were rich white guys owning papers like the WSJ, the Chicago Trib, the LA Times that all had very conservative editorial leanings. But that didn't impact the reporters. Nor did the takeover by chains, then hedge funds, and now, full circle, rich white guys.

I can see what’s published and who wrote the stories. I still trust some journalists and that they’ll be open if their writing is censored. Today’s announcement was specifically about op-Ed’s.
