i find this quite stupid because perfect circle has been known to mankind for a long time (and because i'm reading too much into it). your art should not seek uniformity and an objective perfection but instead embrace its individuality, imperfections and mistakes as that makes it human. #gamedev

I think it's a metaphor about polishing the rough edges, not that it has to seek uniformity or perfection. The tricky thing is discovering what that "polished, refined" shape looks like, because that usually reveals itself through the craft. Yet, making a "quick rough" version ASAP is crucial.

no i know, that’s why i mentioned i’m reading too much into it but i still found this thought relevant. sometimes the thing you’re making is not necassarily what you envisioned it to be and it’s okay to embrace it for what it is.

You made me think of a same-but-opposite version: Just use the Circle Tool at first. You can expressively hand-draw it later.

I know it's not the point, but I absolutely love that first "circle". It's interesting. It has character. Stop there :)

I interpret this as a motivational prompt intended for people who overthink and procrastinate until they lose inspiration. Basically, “Just do it.” But I am not keen on the advice to worry about perfecting it later. There is no perfect. You should relish each part of the process as equally.
