no i know, that’s why i mentioned i’m reading too much into it but i still found this thought relevant. sometimes the thing you’re making is not necassarily what you envisioned it to be and it’s okay to embrace it for what it is.
i find this quite stupid because perfect circle has been known to mankind for a long time (and because i'm reading too much into it). your art should not seek uniformity and an objective perfection but instead embrace its individuality, imperfections and mistakes as that makes it human. #gamedev
not sure who needs to know this but you can avoid creating a nyt account for recipes by simply saving the recipe page and opening offline. lol.

from a steam user's pov wishlisting doesn't mean much to me other than to have a game on a radar. i have about 600 games on my wishlist, many of those i added thinking "this might be interesting" or "i'll get this when it's on major sale" but in the end my wishlist is not getting any smaller.
i wouldn't say easy but doable. i would fall asleep while attempting.

i love when gamedevs post gifs of their games with some out of context debug text on the screen, as if the audience should know what any of that means
and one that doesn’t sound like it’s about to take off when you try to game on it
what bothers me about the indie “imsim” devs is that they think it’s enough to go for the system shock aesthetics and put a “you can stack boxes” option to be called imsim. instead of innovating on the formula they just get stuck in the past.
wish we could detach gamers from games sometimes
every once in a while i open the unreal editor, stare at it for about 10 minutes trying to figure out wtf i'm supposed to do with it. then i close it and move on with my life.
i was at a game showcase and somebody ran their game off portable mini dell pc which i thought was cool but at that price point a laptop might be a better option.
it also renders any further political conversations absolutely meaningless because each side is just going to accuse the other of being either communist or fascist and it is super tiring

i watched (not voluntarily but sorta?) the last season of handmaid's tale and it's incredible how bad it is. like soap opera bad. "emotional" music in almost every scene as it's a netflix food documentary. plus the main girl character is just super annoying.
guess it's a newspaper game now #gamedev #indiegame
