It feels fully ridiculous to be making big moves right now but we can't really wait, soooo we're finally adding on to our house. We were on the fence about extending vs moving, but the housing market here is just stuuuupid so we're gonna work with what we got.
We're kinda in the same place. Gotta replace the water heater, gotta replace the HVAC, would really like to put up some solar but I think we're going to eat enough tariff as it is... at the same time as we're going "okay are we fixing up a place we'll have to flee or...?"
We’re stuck in this trap with our rental. We love having things taken care of, but also know that the cost of housing isn’t getting cheaper
Yep, we kicked this can down the road about as far as we could, but with two growing boys and me working from home now, we just gotta do it.
I really like the company we found and it looks like we'll be moving through the process pretty quickly, but it's still gonna be a long, expensive process. Looking forward to being on the other side with some more space and storage!
