This isn’t the national guard. Looks like maybe LA sheriffs dept. they wear multicam uniforms sometimes. LA PD is in black. Cali national guard has face shields and actual riot shields and were likely well behind the police lines or already withdrawn depending on when this video was actually taken

Informative. Probably important for people to be able to identify and differentiate them to make better informed decisions. The "shoe wear" comment below was another good catch - sneakers or cheap plastic style boot bottoms are a solid giveaway for who is playing dressup or not.

Several of them also have "Police" on the side of their helmets, and are wearing the gaiters over their face that LA Sheriffs and DHS have been using. I also see no patches on the uniforms indicating its NG.

Not much to be gained, likely just less regulated local or federal DHS police - low res- you’re better off looking at the uniforms and comparing what actual Guard wears - look at helmets - high cut uncovered ears. Guard doesn’t get issued that style of helmet.
