Given a president who “donates his salary” yet grifts money and power everywhere else he can, as well as spending more than said salary on travel, Secret Service protection, and so on golfing at his courses most weekends, I’d be loath to say that Colbert is undeserving of this contract.
Yep, trump has made a crap ton off the office, it’s gross. Colbert is super talented, just hope he uses that outrageous salary to help the underprivileged.
He and many, many others similarly situated… but I believe he does so quietly. I’d have to check, but I can’t imagine him not doing so.

He donates to his own accounts pretending it is charity. Nothing he does is cost efficient. Nor charitable.
