Reactions to Del Toro's Frankenstein are hitting. It's a two and a half hour, visually extravagant, slavishly faithful adaptation of the book. Which is definitely divisive, but also...totally made for me.

Is it painfully obvious that the Doctor is the bad guy, or will that movie be used, against all sense or reason, as a reference point by far too many biotech companies?
