Even if they did vote, and voted for Trump, they still wouldn’t deserve to die.

The CHILDREN DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE is absolutely correct. No one believes they did but criticizing their parents for the vote they cast that helped caused their deaths deserves attention These people thought they would never be affected and we told them they would! The parents FAFO in the worst way

Probably. In Texas, people vote Republican because it’s socially required. A colleague told me she voted for Trump because he seemed like the best choice. She asked me who I voted for. I told her Harris. She said, “Uh-Oh,” and pretty much avoided me after that. She considers herself a good person.

We need to talk about this infuriating reality so much more than we do. It's one of the biggest problems sane patriotic Americans need to solve.

I don’t know how to get around it. Back in the day, people in the South called themselves Yellow Dog Democrats because they’d vote for a yellow dog before voting for a Republican. A lot of people, it seems, vote their emotions and a sense of belonging/relating to the candidate.

I have an elderly friend who was a trump voter and is thoroughly disgusted. As gently as I could, I reminded her that I had been telling her how he is since the first Administration.

Voting to increase climate change and decrease our ability to deal with it is the issue. Telling a parent or grandparent that they voted for their loved ones death is sociopathic in its lack of empathy.
