I think exactly the same thing applies to NeuroAI as to the rest of neuro. There are lots of good ideas we could test at small scale. There are also probably some ideas that can only be tested at large scale. All ideas (big and small) likely fail, but yeah maybe it's worth trying a couple big ones.

But not if it impinges on our ability to try out many more smaller ones.
