Complex concepts within complex papers may obscure the central issues of importance- if you value the work undertaken that results in publication do you not value the opportunity to explain it to non-experts who will benefit from the information?

I think for people who don’t understand the technical language, it makes the language and content approachable + personally, I do think that the mistrust with the scientific community is bc of this ‘barrier of language’
