No, imbecile. We had elections during the Civil War. We had elections during WWII. You don't get to start a war to stay in power. Still waiting for our wonderful media to call out this repugnant brand of fascism.

But he’ll call a national emergency of some kind!
There's no "national emergency" that justifies abandoning elections. We didn't have such an "emergency" in WWII, and there is none now. He will be slapped down by the courts if he attempts it. Even this SCOTUS would not abide by his canceling elections. We should not invest him with imaginary powers
I’m glad you have faith in SCOTUS because I don’t.
I'm an attorney, and I think SCOTUS has been despicable. But they have drawn a line with Trump. That's why they rejected his election challenges. That's why they countermanded his deportation order and required a hearing. And why they ordered spending cuts restored. They will not end elections.
I have faith in judges in lower courts more than SCOTUS and that is terribly sad to me. I think SCOTUS is more influenced by rich Republican benefactors. Maybe it’s the rich Republican benefactors that I have no faith in. I appreciate your analysis and maybe I can breathe a little easier.
Well, your faith is justified by the fact that lower court judges, especially district courts, have performed far better than SCOTUS. All I’m suggesting is that, despite their partisanship, canceling midterms is too much even for Roberts and company.
And Vietnam and Korean wars
They’re afraid, which is exactly what reporters CAN’T be.
Journalism has been dead for quite some time now. There is no free press.
If he only knew this in 2020, like Reagan, Clinton, Bush, Obama.
He doesn’t allow actual journalism in the room, and our venture capitalist overlords are ensuring people with actual journalistic credentials are kept far from the levers of power.
