They're embracing their new position as a controlled opposition. Their new revenue stream is to fundraise off of people who are 1) afraid of Republican policy and 2) still stupid enough to think the democrats will do something about any of it. Trans people demand the most action, they're gone first

The bar is on the floor, and the bar is 'do not fucking lend support to arguments in favor of revoking any of the rights (to transition care, to play sports, to access facilities) of transgender kids.' So far, Newsom, Rahm, and Buttigieg have ALL fucking failed to meet that bar.
