the vast majority of student athletes are going to "go pro" in something *other* than sports. If they're talented/lucky enough to wind up in the NFL or the NBA, good for them. I'm still waiting to see the ways the NIL system can be abused. But I'm also not weeping that Brent Venables gave up 1/8

Kudos to New Guy breaking Baker Mayfield's first-game-as-a-transfer record, but it's a long season that could turn bad as early as next weekend when Michigan comes in.
