When Dan Boren declined to run for office again in 2012 (not that he was that great--a centrist Dem that tended to vote with the GOP), OK02 voters elected Markwayne (!) Mullin, and now Josh Brecheen--managing to be even dumber than Mullin--embarrasses OK again and again.
Yes, Dan Boren was David's kid, but didn't always inherit his dad's relative sanity (by center-right Democratic standards). I always felt Dan should have switched parties when he was still in the House. Nevertheless, he's the last Democratic Party officeholder from OK02.
Also, he's sort of related by marriage to former US House Speaker Paul Ryan.
