The film has some brilliant Lynchisms. We both enjoyed it.

A really superb film isn't it.
Yes. Just what we needed after S2.
Ooh. Do I need to rewatch the original before going to that?
It made sense for us to do that as it was Lou’s first watch. If you remember it quite well then you could go right in. It’s basically the week before Laura dies. I say go for it as you are familiar with the story. Season one was a joy, two a bit of a slog at times.
When are you starting on Season 3 ?
Probably next week. It’s sounds good. 25 years was mentioned in the original so it seems part of Lynch’s plan.
Is this the first time you'll have watched it ?
Yes. I think I only saw the first 2 seasons on release. Never saw the film and didn’t even know about S3 until we got back into it.
I'm so jealous. It's the only series I've ever watched back to back three times. The first time was a total mind fuck; the second it started to make sense (as far as it goes) and the third time was just to bask in it's sheer brilliance.
Loving this Allan! I shall relay this to the teen and I’m sure we will be watching next week some time. Season two definitely lacked Lynch.
The best description I've read about season 3 is that it's basically an 18 hour film. I would love to see the whole of season 3 on a cinema screen - it deserves to be seen in it's full glory. Episode 8 is the greatest thing I've ever seen on TV.
Miguel Ferrer and Catherine Coulson 💜💜😪
I concur
That’s really peaked my interest. @fishy808.bsky.social has alluded to Ep8
Yes I will. Yes I remember the slog.
Go straight in then. It’s great.
