I don't know about other idiots, but this one votes for the lesser evil.

That might lead to ending up with the greater evil. Thinking ahead sometimes helps! Just saw an article stating Latinos are unsure about voting for Trump any longer, but still don't trust the Democrats. What choices have they got? Same stupidity here....

Any action has that possibility. But voting for the greater evil doesn't make sense. So voting for the lesser evil or not bothering to vote seem like the only rational options.

I vote out of spite, and complain as a hobby. I don't expect to make any differences on the societal level. Best of luck to you if you think you can. My life will be fine even as America becomes more of a shithole country.

That is woefully ignorant and naive.

I lived abroad for many years, and can afford to pack up anytime. Current plan is to keep working at least 3 more years, but I could afford to leave and retire now. Even if they trash SS completely. I have a sentimental attachment to America, but no real need for it.
