Now that it’s official can we start the chat on who’s the better value signing - Eze or Simons? I’m leaning Simons (obvs with bias)…

I'm not mad keen on comparisons (both can be and are exciting signings). If forced, I'd say I'd have loved Eze - he's an establised PL star and would have been a game changer - but Xavi is more of a goal threat, more explosive, has a higher ceiling and is a much better age profile for a big signing

No question. It's a brilliant response to several high profile setbacks. Not filler or a signing for the sake of it, but a genuine star who immediately makes us a more dangerous team
