It means NATO needs a follow-up organization without the Putin minions. Without a fake ally like the USA having a veto.

I hope we will be able to rid the US of Trump and fix the gaping loopholes that allowed such an unfit and unwell con man to rise to power. We need to codify everything - including no longer allowing convicted felons to run for President.

Trouble is - and I'd love it if we could tell him to sling his hook - most NATO countries are heavily invested in US weapons systems, intelligence networks, *as used by Ukraine for air defence) and in the event of an actual conflict involving us, we don't have capability to go it alone.

This is definitely an issue. And it takes time to unwind such integrated systems. But I hope we are all working towards the things mentioned above.

That's the problem we have to work urgently on. I am sure we can do it. I see no reason why not, but we need to start now. It makes no sense to carry on with fake allies who will stab us in the back on a whim.
